About IVCO

IVCO is a space to exchange ideas, share innovations and build supportive peer networks. You’ll be shaping sectoral policy and advocacy initiatives and advancing progress towards development outcomes through volunteering – a movement of global citizens working for a world without poverty, where no one is left behind.

IVCO 2019 will bring together 150 heads of agencies, as well as representatives of government, the private sector, and the wider development sector in a unique dialogue focusing on the theme of ‘Advancing Quality in Volunteering for Development’.

Dive into the world of development with three days of keynotes, plenary and breakout sessions to explore the theme of quality and how it can be maximised in the volunteering for development sector.

The conference is interactive and inclusive; you’ll engage with speakers, panel members, presenters and moderators through sessions and Q&A opportunities.
